Having gotten in a bit of a hairy mess with a group of Yakuza (of which she was of course totally was innocent), Haruka fled, using The Bus to head to Ginsen City. Upon exiting the vehicle, she was shocked to find herself shrunken back into a child!
After a short period of surprise, Haruka fully embraced the change, planning to once again use it to scam adults into giving her money. She was quite successful at first...until Veruka noticed her. Quickly collecting her daughter (and explaining things to a near by police officer), Veruka took Haruka to The Royale, where Maia discovered that her current state was due to the effect of the city upon her Sailor Crystal. After discovering that the state did not fix itself the next day (she would have to leave the city and return for it to do so), Haruka decided to keep making trips to the city during New Moons to have "fun".

Personality
Haruka is the quintessential tom boy. Rowdy, out spoken, always up for excitement, Haruka tends to be the sort to drag others into some kind of adventure. She often acts like "one of the boys" and shuns almost anything too "girly". She's the sort of kid who paints racing stripes on their bike because they think it will make them go faster. She's also a bit of a trickster, often trying to wheedle money out of gullible adults (though she's usually caught in the act).

- Haruka is Matsumi's first cousin and often drags her into trouble
