The First Sign

On June 20th, 2021, the stars above the sky of a certain ward in Tokyo went dark. Investigating was John Constantine, who felt the paranormal chill of an oncoming storm.

One moment, people were living, laughing and alive. The next, their souls were shredded, consumed by the darkness hovering over the city. A darkness which vanished.

But their sacrifice was the birthing spark for a dead husk which had been floating in time since 2014, unmoored from a dead, forgotten timeline.

Now, somewhere in the void, something was beginning to grow once again.

On June 21st, 2021 The Shadow Architect informed Vermellia X. Rosso that her uncle Constantine had most likely been killed by the events of "The Intersect" which she called The First Sign--apparently the entire ward was dimensionally torn apart--and informed her the Time Agency was now also involved, requesting that she liaise with her sister Cressida to work the case and determine where The Intersect had gone.

The Shadow Architect also surmised that something which was stolen from "the Dead Universe" had been activated, and that it needed to be intercepted now, before it could reach "2025".

On her own, Sakura 2.0 noted the disaster, also identifying it as the First Sign, and noting to herself that she needed to keep her eyes peeled for the Second Sign.

After the destruction of a "What If" version of Earth 1337-B, Cressida got her first solid lead on the cause of the destruction and was able, with the help of Ten'ou Haruka, Tomoe Hotaru, Kaioh Michiru and The Intern as well as Professor Tomoe and the Inner Senshi, to find and defeat the perpetrator of the plot, Astrum, a princess of the Selenity line whose mother was deposed when Princess Serenity I came to power.
