First Appearance

Ian is a clone who is identical in appearance to Sean Collins, but he has been genetically enhanced and created to be "superior." He is the proclaimed Crown Prince of Saturn was formerly a member of The Golden Court under The Tyrant. He now rules over a settlement of resurrected Saturnian civilians on the moon Mimas.

Creation and Mission

Ian's creation was both a planned scheme and an accident. Nucleoid had plotted to try to clone Sean to create a Saturnian servant for The Tyrant who would be stronger, faster, and deadlier than the original, and loyal to her court. This clone would be used to ensure the Tyrant's claim to Saturn in the Sol system as well, by using the royal bloodline that resided within Sean. Nucleoid was successful in subduing and capturing his selected prey, but the method of cloning came with many difficulties and failures as the clone embryos kept dying, never developing a starseed to connect them to the planet itself. Nucleoid concluded that he would need to steal Sean's true starseed to see if he could clone it instead. With all his collected samples of flesh and bone from his subject, he was more than happy to risk losing the original for this final attempt to create his clone.

The collection of the true starseed did not go as planned. In his attempt to remove the true starseed, Nucleoid's contraption and methods caused the starseed to crack, unleashing a powerful wave of force that destroyed the lab. Nucleoid was disappointed to find that his attempt to claim the whole starseed had failed, but he did manage to recover a shard. Before he could do more damage to his captive, Nucleoid was forced to gather his remaining samples and retreat, as Sean's allies had located him due to the destruction of the dampening devices in place. Sean was recovered by the Earth Allies, but with a damaged and cracked starseed, he was slowly dying in a comatose state. Banding together, the Earth Allies used their abilities and channeled their energies into Sean's true starseed to reforge and heal it.

By reforging Sean's starseed, they did not know that their efforts were also resonating upon the shard taken by Nucleoid, thus reforging the shard into a cloned star seed, and creating a second life. Nucleoid was surprised by this turn of events, and began working on one more clone, and placing the new starseed into the embryo. The starseed accepted this newly created host, and the clone was able to maintain its life force, and grow quickly. The clone soon awoke and broke free from his capsule, and was greeted by Nucleoid and Doom Phantom. They gave him the name Ian, a simple variant from his original's name. Nucleoid instructed Ian on his abilities and enhancements, and how Ian was superior to the original "unworthy son of Saturn." With what cloned memories he had, he was also provided further education about his planet, species, purpose, and mission.

To test his ties to Saturn and his inherent abilities, Ian was instructed to try and summon an artifact from the planet to prove his cloned blood had ties and a claim to Saturn. Ian closed his eyes and concentrated on the planet and its energies. Within moments, an artifact was summoned from the depths of the planet's heart, and it flew into Ian's grasp...a shining ancient sword, the Executioner's Blade of Silence itself, the Sword of Saturn. Elated, Nucleoid and the Doom Phantom were pleased that this was a sign that the clone was perfect, and that his blood matched the royal lineage. Ian was dubbed the new Prince of Saturn, and they moved forward with their plans.

The Defamation of Saturn Knight

Taking up residence in a hidden base on the moon of Mimas, Nucleoid and Doom Phantom plotted with Ian on how they would start their mission to destroy and replace the original "Unworthy Son" and gain favor in the Golden Court. Nucleoid considered even presenting Ian to the Tyrant as a sort of consort, but was refused as the Tyrant preferred her own harem of obedient male servants.

Ian, as well, had no interest in gaining a queen at this time. He was too focused on eliminating his "rival" and taking his proper place as the true prince. Knowing of Sean's current mental condition being affected by Nucleoid's torture and experimentation on him while he was a captive, Ian decided to exploit this to drive Sean into a state of confusion and madness, and to try and turn his friends and allies against him, and possibly execute him as a criminal.

Due to the past, and the fall of the Silver Millenium, Sean harbored a deep seeded hatred for youma. Doom Phantom decided this should be exploited as the means to start the downfall of the Senshi Knight, and in turn cause conflict among the Earth Allies within the Hotel. Doom Phantom proposed that they murder the adopted youma child of a resident in the Hotel, Katerina Markov, and allow Sean to take the blame for the crime. In addition, the Phantom schemed to try and make further evidence by staging "provoked" attacks against other youma inhabitants, among which included an attack on DD Girl Pink on a live broadcast program on GingaTV. The evidence against Sean was mounting, and with his own sporadic behavior due to his implanted memories, he couldn't even be sure that he wasn't responsible. Sean ended up fleeing from the HOTEL after the murder and Live TV assault took place, and hid away in Ueno Park as authorities came looking for him. He was taken into custody by Ssskt and locked up in a cell within the Alien Zone Police's prison for his initial interrogation, and until his trial. Even after the arrest, Ian and his advisors interfered with things from behind the scenes to plant evidence, cause despondence, and try to manipulate Sean's friends into trying to convince them of his guilt.

When Sean's trial day came, they monitored the proceedings, feeling sure that he would be found guilty and put to death. As the trial progressed, evidence was presented, and witnesses were questioned. Things seemed to push the verdict closer to guilty...but then Sean's legal council presented new evidence. This evidence caused the trial to turn on its head and the charges were thrown out, declaring Sean to be Not Guilty. The Earth allies all celebrated, but Ian and his advisors were left to pick up the pieces of this failure. Ian decided the only true way to get rid of the "unworthy son" would be to challenge Sean himself...but first he had to ensure the power of Saturn would be his.

The Founding of his Kingdom

Since sharing the royal bloodline from his biological donor, and with the Princess of Saturn living as a Human on Earth, Ian decided he would take the Saturnian throne, unopposed, and stand in as the Crown Prince of Saturn. Since he could not found his kingdom on the now gaseous giant, Ian chose to found his kingdom where Nucleoid had founded his second hidden lab, on Mimas. After managing to maintain a stable shield and field that would allow their location and life signs to remain hidden, they started planning on how to establish their own kingdom and gain a following.

Doom Phantom suggested exploiting a young visitor from an alternate future, a boy called "Little Gentleman" who possessed a GS Ball with immense power. The boy was brought to Ian, and he told his story of Saturn's fall and betrayal. Ian told the boy about his dream to resurrect the people and kingdom so that they may see justice and a second chance to rebuild what they had lost. The child felt a desire to help this "prince" and used the power of his GS Ball to try and restore the fallen kingdom and its people. The Planet Saturn, however, seemed to come alive and repel the boy's attempt to bring the past back to life. This clash of energies caused a massive explosion, and the GS Ball's energies burst and spread like a wave over the Saturnian system and moons, before boomeranging back to Mimas where the boy and Ian stood. This sudden backlash knocked Little Gentleman unconscious, and Ian was concerned their attempt was a failure. He soon saw that an unexpected result had occurred, as there were now hundreds of living resurrected Saturnians awakening in his fortress. It wasn't the result he wanted or expected, but Ian took this as an opportunity to at least start his kingdom and following for a strong and independent Saturn to rise as a center of power once again. Ian addressed his people, introducing himself as their prince, and what his vision was to restore Saturn to an even greater glory than that of the Silver Millennium, and denounce the previous royal bloodline and descendants to deny them any claim to his throne. The people happily embraced this new prince, taking note to his resemblance to the son of the former Earl of Titan. As it turned out, the people that were resurrected were various previous supporters of a pure blooded Saturn. They had all come from different moon colonies, and even from Saturn itself, and had opposed the rule of the Empress. They joyously pledged their allegiance and loyalties to their prince, and vowed with him to bring glory and justice to their new kingdom of Saturn.

Ian knew they would need time and security to prepare and protect his new following of people, so he had Nucleoid set forth to secure all of Saturnian Airspace so that their enemies on Earth would not be able to invade and attack before they could be prepared. Nucleoid then set to work, and with the help of the Doom Phantom, they created special "mines" in the form of transparent cocoons that contained a daimon in stasis. Doom Phantom then disguised these daimon to appear as innocent humans, or alien creatures with the threat that anyone who tried to enter the airspace, or remove the mines, would watch as the "innocent" contained within would awaken, explode and die while dealing a great amount of damage. They send these mines to cover the airspace of the moons of Saturn, as well as the planet itself to keep any enemy forces out.

With their "Kingdom" now safe and secured and hidden from any infiltration from their enemies, Ian set about helping his people get settled on Mimas, helping to build their community, farms, and establish a basic guard structure.

The Fall of the Tyrant

On March 21st, 2016, the powerful Golden Court and the Tyrant was destroyed from an attack that came from an invading force from an Alternate Universe. With the loss of such a powerful ally, Ian, Nucleoid, and Doom Phantom took measures to ensure they could stand on their own as the new central power for the forces that opposed the allies of Earth. Nucleoid, as well, took a personal mission to go to the ruins of the Golden Court to search for "survivors", but in truth, he was seeking "materials" to further his experiments for daimons and to salvage possible cloning material. To his surprise, Nucleoid actually found a small green Sailor Crystal shard! It flickered with barely any energy to remain as a remanent of a Sailor Crystal, so Nucleoid quickly retreated to his ship and placed the shard sample into an energy generator to feed energies into the shard as a means of life-support. He then returned to Mimas and retreated to his lab, and started to create and sacrifice many daimon to help the crystal shard to slowly regenerate. After many long hours, Nucleoid successfully managed to recover the Sailor Crystal of Jupiter. In addition, among his genetic samples, he did manage to find he had collected a single hair from the Tyrant herself. Nucleoid plotted to carry though with his plans to "unite" his clone with the Tyrant so that they could command the powers of both Saturn and Jupiter, and used the hair to create a clone embryo of the Jupiter Princess's body, and then merged the Sailor Crystal with it. When she was ready...he would present this new clone as a proposed bride to Ian to seal the deal.

Unbeknownst to Nucleoid, the Grim Reaper had found the remains of the Jupiter Princess's soul, and it was drawn weakly to the newly formed crystal and body. The reaper followed Nucleoid and watched as the clone embryo grew into a young girl in a matter of a couple months. Once the soul had a strong pull to the body and crystal, Grim let the soul remains rejoin with the clone body, now at the age of about 8-years old. The joining of the soul with the body and crystal caused the clone to awaken ahead of Nucleoid's planned schedule and set off alarms in the lab. Ian was drawn to the lab due to the alarms, and discovered the clone made by Nucleoid without his knowledge. Nucleoid admitted the clone was to be Ian's bride, but at her current "age" she was not fit or mature enough. Nucleoid wanted to put the clone back into stasis so she could develop more, but Ian forbade it. Angered that Nucleoid was trying to create a bride without his order or desire for one, Ian said Nucleoid would be punished if he tried to create any more unauthorized clones. Ian then took the girl from the cloning pod, and proclaimed she is now under his care.

A Change of Heart

When Aliana came into his care, Ian treated her with more dignity and did not torture her. While she did not offer him any information against the Earth Allies, through some arguments, they came to a head when it came to who was truly evil. She called him a savage monster for working with the enemy. Ian told her she is wrong, and that the Earth allies and the humans were the monsters. He pointed out that a monster would not have treated her with as much care as he had. Aliana takes his words into consideration, but then says it is all just a trick to make her open up, and she would not be a victim of his lies to manipulate her for information. Ian then takes Aliana out of the dungeon, and reveals his growing kingdom on Mimas to her. Could a monster provide and promote a life to his people in need? Aliana started to see Ian was truly looking out for this colony of people, and helping them to be strong and capable. While the people still looked at her with suspicion and caution, as she was a prisoner, they did not object to their prince's order when he allowed Aliana to walk among them under escort. She learned of how he "saved" these people and gave them hope for a new kingdom. They spoke in ire of how the Empress allowed their kingdom to fall and left them all to die in the past. Now with their new prince, Saturn will arise as the center of power once again. Each night she would return to her cell, her mind changing its outlook on this "new kingdom", and Ian as its ruler. He seemed like a truly noble person...so why was he working with the enemy?

One day, instead of going out to walk among the people, she asked to just stay and talk to Ian. She asked him about what he truly wanted as the prince of Saturn. He was suspicious at first, but he told her about what he desired. To rebuild the kingdom and restore Saturn to Power. Since the Princess was now human, and the "unworthy Son" was not taking the throne, he claimed it and would seek to wipe out his competitors and take his rightful place as not just the prince of Saturn, but the position of Saturn Knight as well. He would not allow a disgrace to share the same face as he. But when Aliana asks him why he cannot simply make peace with the Earth Allies, he says it would be impossible. Living among humans, the earth allies are complacent with earthling ideals and are now easily corrupted. Humanity is a parasite that should be destroyed. Aliana argues that humanity is capable of more than just corruption and evil, and they are capable of accepting peace over genocide. Ian says she cannot understand. After humanity caused the fall of the Sol, they are forever condemned and can never be trusted again. Ian says he knows that if they made peace with Earth, the humans would eventually undermine everything and kill his kingdom. Aliana asks how he can be sure, and Ian tells her he sees this destruction in his dreams.

Doom Phantom and Nucleoid sees Aliana interacting more with Ian, and causing him to be distracted. They try to separate them, reminding Ian she is a prisoner and will try to tempt him into becoming weak minded. At first, he complies as his nightmares soon shift to make Aliana appear as a temptress and a witch who will try to lure him into doubt and kill him when his back is turned. Aliana confronts him when Ian orders her to be locked in her cell and that the Opposito knights would again take control of her "care". She tells him that he knows well the Opposito knights will again torture her and possibly kill her, and why would he allow that when he showed he was no monster before. What forces changed him into this new beast? Hearing her words, he reluctantly told her of his new dreams. Aliana then asked if these dreams started when he first met her...or after his advisors objected to his interactions with her. This question clicked something in the back of Ian's mind. He turned and looked her right in the eyes, seeing no malice or manipulation like he saw in his dreams. He felt something well up inside, then opened her cell, took her hand, his eyes reflecting a new light, and he took her to his throne room. At once, his advisors objected and again warned him of her manipulation, but Ian refused to hear any of it. He declared that Aliana was free to be his companion at his will and leisure, and there would be no overturning his order. Even Aliana was now surprised, for she had gone from Prisoner to Companion of her "captor". At first, she feared he would try to make her into some kind of royal concubine, but Ian showed no such intent. But his demeanor to her did change. He seemed more...comforting, and gentle.

She was given a room that she was allowed to retire to. It would be locked and under guard to prevent escape while she was in it, and when not in his company, a guard escorted her. One night, she had a dream of her own that Ian was struggling and suffering. She awoke and quickly called to the guard through her door that she needed to see the prince, and that he was in danger. The guard doubted her at first, but knowing his orders from the prince, let her out and took her to his chambers. She found the doors unlocked, and quickly went inside. She saw what looked like a dark, ominous cloud hovering over Ian as he struggled in his bed under a deep sleep. She and the guard rushed over, forcing this dark cloud to retreat and vanish. Aliana woke Ian, and he jolted awake, gasping like he was suffocating. She calmed him and he embraced her like a frightened child. She stayed with him through the night. He told her of the nightmare that attacked him. Aliana said she would stay and keep the nightmares at bay. After that night, she stayed by Ian's side, and true to her word, his nightmares did not return. While she was there, Doom Phantom could not enter the chamber to torment Ian, and without his nightmares, the clone began to grow stronger in his mindset, and started to become independent. So with Aliana now at his side, the two began to grow closer, and Ian even introduced her to his cloned "sister" Alethea. Aliana quickly recognized her as the Princess Jupiter. She had since grown from her 8-year old body into a 14-year old body, and was still aging steadilly and starting to recover some of her memories from the past. Ian told Aliana that Alethea cannot be revealed to the oppositos as she is cloned from the Tyrant, and they will take her away as the Jupiter Princess and use her to their own means. Seeing that he was truly protective of his "sister", Aliana agreed and began to see Ian more and more as a truly noble person who was manipulated into his acts of evil. Despite their best efforts, the Opposito knights began to spy on Ian and his activities with Aliana, and now they saw he was treating their prisoner like a member of his court now. Doom Phantom revealed to them that Aliana had turned Ian against them, and that they both were hiding the Jupiter princess from the Knights. This turned the Oppositos against Ian and they plotted to take both Aliana and Alethea.

Betrayal by the Opposito Knights

During the night, Ian was lulled into a deep sleep from a drug given to him in his drink, and the oppositos broke with the help of Dark Priceman, and under an illusion cast by Doom Phantom. Taking them by surprise, the oppositos restrained Aliana and kidnapped Alethea in a stasis pod during the night and retreating to their own hidden base away from Mimas and Ian's protection. Doom Phantom and Nucleoid hoped with Aliana now gone, they can regain control of Ian, but when the phantom tried to induce a nightmare, he found strong resistance from Ian's subconscious and instead, the prince awoke from the nightmare in a rage. Finding that Aliana and Alethea were gone, Ian launched a search to find them, only finding a mocking note from Keith of the oppositos saying Ian couldn't hide the truth forever, and now he has no secrets left to keep. Ian was devastated to lose both his sister and Aliana. He blamed himself for not being able to protect them. When Aliana and Alethea were rescued by the Earth forces, he was told about it by the Doom Phantom, and he felt a little relieved, but at the same time he was certain he would never see them again. His ambitions have been lacking since then, although the people still support him as their prince.
